DJR teamed up with a high end custom home builder under a project management contract to develop 3-4 one acre estate lots out of raw infill land in the Del Mar Mesa area of San Diego. The project is another example of a successful builder with a number of ongoing projects bringing in DJR to assess, manage, and create value out of a property with significant potential issues in the “horizontal” development and construction in which such a builder has less expertise than DJR.
DJR’s effort consisted of a comprehensive Costing Analysis Report for the land development work including earthwork analysis, quantities estimates, and cost estimates. DJR’s analysis and report to the team was in the form of its integrated Land Development Program and Budget.
The next phase involves project management services during construction consisting of coordination and management of consultants, contractors, and public agency issues during completion of the grading and subdivision improvements.
